I heart Art Deco

I really, really do. I love the embellishments, scalloped edges, geometric shapes, pretty beading, both the rich and pastel shades - I'd even go as far as saying it is my favourite era, the one I'd go back to if I had a time machine...

I am so happy that this jazz age is making a comeback into fashion (it features in Gucci's S/S '12 collection as well as others) and I can't wait to fill my wardrobe (and home!) with Art Deco inspired goodies (as soon as I come into some money that is!)

But for now, here are just a few flapper-inspired pieces I've seen that will kickstart the Twenties trend.

Scalloped Embellished Cape - £45, ASOS

Art Deco Beaded Bolero - £124.90, Mango

Charleston Art Deco Bracelet by Queens & Bowl
£169.75 -

Vintage Crystal Drop Earrings by Queens & Bowl

Art Deco Comb by Queens & Bowl

Feather Cape - £129, Ted Baker at ASOS

Vintage Beaded Dress - £55
Love Label at Littlewoods

Peacock Embellished Bodycon dress -
£150, by Dress Up Topshop

Snake Panel clutch - £7.99, New Look

Boxy Crochet Cross Body Bag - £15.99, New Look

Light Pink Beaded Flapper Skirt - £40, River Island

As I said above, this is just a selection of the Art Deco inspired pieces I have seen whilst browsing the internet, and I am VERY interested to see what else is yet to come!

  1. It seems I'm on the right track, I hope I can do well. The result was something I did and was doing to implement it.
