But, in recent weeks, our Zumba Instructor - Rachel Blood (who hosts classes in Lincolnshire) - has been talking about something new, something that was very intriguing... Zumba with chairs?!

This new style of Zumba is called Zumba Sentao; we've had samples of the routines in our classes and trust me, I can tell that this will burn! For any of you lovely readers out there who are interested in learning more about this, then Rachel has very kindly shared the basics.
The Zumba Sentao programme combines strength and resistance training with innovative dance fitness moves, all centred around the chair. Infused with the famous Zumba party atmosphere and energising world rhythms, this never-before-seen workout tones muscles, strengthens the core and torches calories in a unique and consistently thrilling way.
Who is the Zumba Sentao participant?
Zumba Sentao is designed for everyone - all ages, sizes and fitness levels. The choreography can be modified and adapted for the individual. This class provides a total body workout whilst being fun and challenging.
When will your Zumba Sentao classes be held?

Zumba is loved by so many people and is obviously still getting bigger (and better!), what is it about Zumba that makes it so popular?
Zumba is continuously growing and becoming more and more exciting! The good thing about Zumba, unlike no other fitness programme, is that it is open to everyone - you can be 65 years and still enjoy it as its about moving, feeling good and taking that hour of the class to forget about all your cares and stresses.
Imagine push-ups on chairs, plenty of leg kicks and the moves of Zumba all rolled into one... definitely sounds like hard work, but you know that it will be fun! Anybody in the Grimsby, Cleethorpes and wider area who is interested in Zumba Sentao should take a look at the Zumba Sentao Lincolnshire Facebook page.
Personally, I can not wait for this to begin! And I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one...
