As I said in
this blog post a few weeks, 80s fashion seems to be making a comeback - the next trend is peplum! My initial thoughts were 'I'm not going to be keen on this' but then, I saw something that got me thinking...
I know that Cheryl's jacket isn't peplum so to speak, but when I saw her music video for 'Call my Name' one day, I thought that this jacket gave her a lovely, slightly more curvaceous silhouette. I happened to need a nice, summer jacket to go with my outfit for a friend's wedding next month, and so I thought I'd have a little look for this style (but then I realised it wasn't peplum!) Anyway, I found this on the Missguided site and I can't wait to break it out this summer - that's if we actually get one...
Then on Saturday, I faced a dress dilemma; the beauty I had bought for my friend's hen weekend didn't fit, and I needed one ASAP! So good old New Look came to the rescue with this little pink number.

| Cameo Rose blush pink peplum dress - £22.99, New Look. |
I personally think this is a very flattering style whatever your shape;
if you are quite slim, it can add a bit of shape to your hips, but if
you are curvy, it accentuates them in a very flattering way. Luckily
there are loads of different pieces available at the minute - here are
just a few...
