And this has become my inspiration for this post; AW bargain street style.
With a budget of £50, this is the outfit I have put together using pieces from boohoo.com
Jayne Metallic Effect Lace Print Trilby - £5 (was £12)
I will admit, I have never been a big hat person but a trilby or fedora seems to be a big trend amongst the fashion community, and with winter quickly creeping in, it will definitely be practical as well as look great! The metallic red lace will also add just a pop of colour to this outfit.
Jayde Cropped Jumper with Coloured Studs - £16
Although this reminds me of something my mum would have out me in back in the 90s, I love it! And by the sounds of it, many other people will too as 90s flashback is one of the notable trends from LFW SS13 - House of Holland are all over this! Even though it is cropped and has 3/4 length sleeves, the oversized, slouchy style means it will be comfy and cozy once the cold days settle in.
Deanna Bodycon Skirt - £5 (was £12)
You can not go wrong with a simple skirt, whatever the season or look you are going for. This grey colour will look stylish in the winter months as well as in the early spring teamed with neon or bright patterns. For those who usually wear black as a staple, comfort shade, this grey will make a lovely change whilst not being 'out there'. And £5 in clearance... bargain!
Trudy Deco Design Tight - £6
As I have said so many times before, the 1920s has to be my favourite time period and I love that so many Art Deco inspired pieces are making their way in to high street retailers. These statement tights will add that little touch of glamour to any outfit, ready for a night over at the one and only Gatsby's! (I wish!) Just a peek of these between the hemline of the skirt and the footwear (below) is all that you'd need.
Melodie Biker Ankle Strap Detail Leather Look Wader Boot - £18 (was £45)
Finally, the boots - and another bargain! Biker boots aren't going anywhere this AW and I am so pleased because not only do they look good, but they are so versatile and are great for winter weather! And at £18, you'll have to snap them up quickly!
Teamed with some deep red nails to bring out the metallic of the hat, a messy, matte hairstyle and statement eyeliner, you can bring a piece of LFW street style to your hometown, and all for just £50! And if you're after even bigger bargains, take a look at fashionvouchers.com. As well as a great outfit together, I love that these pieces can be worn in many other different ways so you'll definitely be able to make the most of your money.
