I'm just taking this quick moment to explain my lack of blog posts this week, it has just been such a hectic week at work (we're moving offices) and it's surprising how tired it has made me! It's just typical that I have some festive blog posts for you all and I haven't really had time to write them.
I am definitely in the festive spirit now - listening to Mr Buble while walking to work and loving the little flurries of snow we've been having in Grimsby. Tomorrow (Saturday) I will also be going to Manchester Christmas Market (as long as the weather is not too bad!) and I cannot wait - it will be my first time!
But in the meantime, I have a couple of photographs of mine and DC's Christmas Tree which we put up on Tuesday night. Just like last year, we used the traditional red and gold decorations but we also tried out the 'Magic Snow' which I bought from Brigg Garden Centre last week (I have posts about that trip and the 'Magic Snow' coming soon!) We also have a new special decoration which we added to the tree, a tradition we started last year - our first Christmas together...
Our tree is from the Brocklesby Estate in Lincolnshire. This is our second time ordering a real tree from the Estate and I cannot recommend it enough! The tree is a beautiful shade of green and it stays that colour for the whole Christmas season, and the needles do not drop too much either!
And keeping with the yuletide theme, my guest post for Stella & Alf's '12 Days of Christmas' will be published on their blog tomorrow! I'm very excited to see this - they already have some stunning tree decorations, lovely knits and two adorable Cocker Spaniels in bow ties so you must take a look!
So keep your eyes peeled as I definitely have more to come!
