Lincolnshire may seem like a sleepy place to some, but within this farm county is plenty of inspiring people and companies doing very exciting things.
Designer Paris Hodson and Stylist Charlotte Hay have created an ethically conscious, superbly simple capsule wardrobe collection entitled Stella&Alf, and Friday 1st February saw the grand launch.

The event was held at The Settlement, in Caistor (such a lovely venue that I must go back to), and we were treated to Champagne, canapes and an exclusive look at their collection.
The design of the collection is simplicity itself; clean, classic, quality staple pieces that can be worn in various ensembles, by women of all ages, to create different looks. All of the responsibly sourced material is sourced as close to Lincolnshire as possible. Charlotte and Paris say: "Our philosophy to fashion should not be trend-led, but instead individual style and personality should prevail. Subsequently, Stella & Alf is not driven by a change in trends from season to season, but promotes a natural evolution in fashion design, as a response to the customer."
As for the launch, it can only be described as a complete success; the turnout was great and Charlotte and Paris received plenty of well-deserved congratulations. I am very excited to see what these lovely ladies get up to next.
