In September 2011, the blog had a revamp which involved introducing a new logo, created by Daniel Codd, and this gave the site a more modern, bespoke appearance. At this point, I started posting more regularly and signed up to numerous social networking sites including Bloglovin', Bloggers and Google+. This, along with continuous tweets, enhanced the publicity the blog received and, since then, the blog has grown and grown in terms of content quality and traffic; I am pleased to say that, since September 2011, I am experiencing an average monthly page view increase of 20%.
This success is motivating me to make The LC Issue even bigger and better by producing more quality blog posts - the most important factor of my blog - and working in partnership with other people and companies. I have learned so much during this first year as a blogger, and my eyes really have been opened to new opportunities, so I am determined to learn even more and make The LC Issue as successful as it can be.
About Lindsay
I write this blog in my spare time - after work, at weekends, whenever I can - because I love what I do. This blog enables me to express my opinions on whatever I feel like writing about, whether it is an item of clothing or make-up products I like, reviews, travel stories, education and journalism, interesting things I have seen or heard about or generally, what I feel like on that particular day. I love researching, writing and seeing the finished product, and I take great pride in what I do - I hope this is reflected in this blog.
I am a big girly-girl; I like clothes, make-up, zumba, cooking, trying to keep fit (trying being the key word) and chocolate, of course! I love travelling to new places - my favourites so far being New York, LA and Rome - and having great times with friends, family and @ultimatecoddy.
If you would like to see any of my published work, go to www.waltonspublications.com and click on each magazine to see the latest issues. If you would like to get in touch regarding any press releases, samples or just any queries, please feel free to email me: lindsay@thelcissue.co.uk or lindsay.cowie@waltonspublications.com
And finally, thank to everyone who takes the time to browse, read, comment on and follow this blog - as I said above, I love what I do and it really does mean so much to me that there are people out there who enjoy what I write about. You are helping this blog to grow and grow, and I become even more proud each day - I couldn't be more grateful!
